Happy New Year Everyone!!!
It's been ages since I've updated. Have put up my new book on Kindle Scout and it has been stressing me out...so will just write abit about the whole experience so far.
The lowdown: Kindle Scout allows you to put up your new novel on their platform and readers get to read the first 5000 words and allowed to nominate your book. A month later, Amazon will decide whether to publish your ebook or not.
The cons/ whining on my part: Singaporeans are not allowed to nominate....unless they get around the system somehow which is a big drawback for me. Because how many American friends do I have in my circle?! I have more than the average Singaporean...but still it's a big drawback. I really had no choice but to pump cash into some advertising, like Facebook and Twitter. Initially, I just wanted Facebook....but a few days into the campaign, it decided to be bitchy and FB deactivated my ad account. I was so stressed when that happened!! I only had 30 days to decide my fate!!! So I decided to hurry up with Twitter Ads....Facebook did get its act together a day later though...
Anyway...I have 21 days left...my views are not that awesome...I can only pray and have faith at this point.
Here's a video of me uploading my book on Kindle Scout
